Description
This sculptural painting features an old cedar fencepost with barbed wire wrapped around it. To achieve the scale needed, I had to make that barbed wire by hand; not an easy task. In the dead of winter, the contrast of the rusty wire and the snow is striking, but even more striking is the fact that the entire painting projects itself into the room. Framed in barnwood. Careful! you could cut yourself on the barbed wire.
